ARIANA Grande’s fiance Pete Davidson reportedly forked out $US93,000 ($A122,845) on her engagement ring.
New York-based jeweller Greg Yuna custom-made the pear-shaped bling in May, People reports.
Grande, 24, has been wearing the diamond rock, set on a platinum band, since her June 2 appearance at Wango Tango in Los Angeles.
The couple — who were said to have met on Saturday Night Live in 2016 — have been officially dating for less than a month.
While Davidson dropped six-figures on Grande’s rock, it is no match to how much some cashed up stars have splashed out on engagement rings.
For example, James Packer spent $US12.7 million ($A16.7 million) on a diamond for his ex, Mariah Carey.
They’ve been flaunting their new romance on social media since Grande split with her ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, and Davidson broke-up with Cazzie David.
“It’s a recent engagement,” a source told People.
WHY YOU SHOULDN’T RUSH TO GET MARRIED
“They’re just two people who found love quickly and make each other happy all the time. “They both started talking about it this past weekend.
“It’s nothing they’ve been hiding.”
New York Post this week confirmed that the fast-moving couple made plans to tie the knot after a whirlwind romance that has included Davidson having Grande-inspired tattoos inked on him (a cloud and her famous bunny ears), and plenty of online PDA.
Meantime, Cazzie David, Davidson’s ex-girlfriend, would like a glass of wine … or five.
The writer, who recently got out of a two-year-long relationship with Saturday Night Live star, took to Instagram to share what seemed to be her response to the news that her ex-boyfriend is engaged to No Tears Left to Cry singer Grande.
“Came here a person, leaving a human bottle of wine,” David captioned a selfie of herself holding a tall glass of red wine.
David is the daughter of Seinfield creator Larry David.
