ROSE Jacobs has confirmed she is leaving Vanuatu to “restart” her life after splitting from Channel 9 weatherman Steve Jacobs.
In a series of Instagram posts this week Rose revealed she was returning to Sydney and had purchased a new apartment.
“HAPPY DANCE! Settlement has gone through five minutes ago on my new apartment in Bronte!!!!!!!! Pop the champagne!!!!,” Rose wrote on Instagram on Wednesday.
“Thank you to the most incredible family and friends who have supported me during this massive life changing process! You know who you are xxx.”
The estranged wife of Weekend Today’s weather presenter had moved to the country with the couple’s two daughters in 2016.

In March, sources close to the pair confirmed to The Daily Telegraph that Rose and Steve had parted ways after nearly seven years together.
“Steve and Rosie had such a public image of the perfect happy family but behind the scenes there were struggles that would put strain on even the best marriage,” a friend told the newspaper.
The former couple sold their five-bedroom matrimonial home in Coogee for a staggering $4.6 million in April, further cementing their split.
