Quavo Says Offset Is “Doing Fine” and “Should Be Back Working Real Soon,” Talks Upcoming Solo Migos Projects

Quavo was the only Migos member who attended the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night (May 20) in Las Vegas.

Before the show’s festivities kicked off, the rapper was asked about the condition of his cousin and groupmate Offset, who was banged up pretty bad last week after getting into a car accident.

“My boy Offset got into a bad car accident, but he doing fine, he up and running, he up and walking, ready to work,” Quavo told Billboard. “He should be back working real, real soon. It’s a blessing that he’s still here. God is good.”

God really is good, because Offset released a bunch of photos from the crash showing off his injuries and how badly the car was wrecked, and it’s a miracle he made it out not only alive, but with what’s considered pretty minor injuries.

Quavo also talked to Billboard about new music and revealed that Migos are working on some new projects right now, including some solo tracks, but he didn’t want to reveal too much.

“We got a lot of projects coming this summer,” he teased. “This July, we got DJ Durel. He gonna be releasing a lot of our solo songs on his album, so we do got solo singles that’s coming this summer.”

The rapper Migos frontman also opened up about lending some backing vocals to Childish Gambino’s “This Is America,” which he called “amazing” and “a blessing.”

“It’s overwhelming,” he continued. “Me and Donald got a good history, you know, he shouted us out at the awards and we’ve been on Atlanta, and him going back and forth… our communication and our connection is real strong, so whenever he calls me and says, ‘Let’s do some music,’ we’ll just pull up and just work.”

Pusha T Tells Breakfast Club He Has No Regrets About Drake Diss Track and “There’s More Content” If Needed

Pusha T was playing no games with Drake when he released his brutal diss track “The Story of Adidon” Tuesday night (May 29). The rapper called into The Breakfast Club Wednesday morning and said he has no regrets going in on Drake and that he has more ammunition if needed.

Pusha spoke with Charlamagne, Angela Yee and DJ Envy early this morning (May 30) via phone to talk about “The Story of Adidon.” Pusha TEA went Ether-esque on Drake, spitting about his single mother, absentee father, and alleged secret baby with porn star Sophie Brussaux. And let’s not forget about the track’s shocking cover featuring Drake in blackface.

He told the radio hosts:

“I definitely didn’t go too far with anything, I’m here for the sport of it but when it gets personal, it gets personal. I’m not censoring myself but there’s more content if it’s needed later.”

LISTEN TO THE FULL 8-MINUTE INTERVIEW HERE:

The Bronx rapper dropped the diss after Drake mentioned Pusha fiancée’s name in Drake’s “Infrared” (a song from Pusha’s new album) response track, “Duppy Freestyle,” last week.

So, Push says “all bets are off” and titled his latest diss after Drake’s upcoming Adidas clothing line, Adidon. Push claims Drake was going to use the line to finally publicly acknowledge his son with Brussaux, whose name, Adonis, allegedly inspired the Adidas brand.

Charlamagne admitted that Push is up 2-1 and winning this rap battle. Drake hasn’t released a response yet, but it may be hard to record a comeback. “Let me tell y’all like this: I don’t got no skeletons. It is what it is,” Push said.

“Yeah. I’m not going to bully the situation because I think it’s bigger questions now, though, I really do. They don’t have to be answered to me but I definitely feel that they are bigger questions than the things I brought up.

“We talked about the writing or whatever, the ghostwriting allegations, alright cool, we’re off that. Now, you get to the mimicking of the black culture, the blackface. I’m not ready to excuse that. I’m not ready to excuse you talking multi-millionaire talk to me and you tucking a baby—I’m not with all of that.”

I guess we’ll all have to wait to see if the “Nice for What” rapper has anything to say in the coming days.
