XXXTentacion Murder Suspect Dedrick Williams Was NOT Raped in Jail

According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, reports that XXXTentacion’s murder suspect was raped in a Florida jail are NOT true.

TMZ says that law enforcement officials at BSO told them the story floating around the internet over the past few days saying that 22-year-old Dedrick D. Williams was raped in the Broward County jail facility is “flat-out false.”

The report from the website Hip Hop Overload cited someone claiming to work in the Dade County Jail system who said that Williams was “getting a shower when he was ambushed with an attempted rape.”

BSO’s Public Information Officer Veda Coleman-Wright said the story was “unfounded” and that none of what was said didn’t happen. Basically, Williams was NOT physically assaulted nor was he raped.

Two weeks ago today (Mon, Jun. 18), XXXTentacion was shot to death outside of RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Police were able to track Williams down and arrest him because he was seen wearing the same orange sandals he had on when he allegedly took part in the shooting death of the 20-year-old rapper on Instagram. He’s being held without bail.

Police have reportedly identified a second person of interest in XXX’s murder case, a 22-year-old man named Robert Allen, who was captured on surveillance video at the same motorcycle shop where X was gunned down. Investigators haven’t released the name of the third person involved, who they’re still looking for.

Last week, XXX’s family, friends, and fans celebrated his life with two separate services—a public memorial service held Wednesday (Jun. 27) at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL, which was attended by thousands of the rapper’s fans, and a private funeral held the next day.

In an incredibly eerie instance of art imitating life, XXXTentacion released a music video showing him attending his own funeral. The video was for the rapper’s latest single “SAD!” which is currently the No. 1 song in the country after experiencing a massive sales and streaming boost after his tragic death.

Dedrick D. Williams’ Brother Says Tattoo Artist Didn’t Kill XXXTentacion (VIDEO)

Not too long after Dedrick Devonshay Williams was taken into police custody Wednesday night (Jun. 20) in Pompano Beach, Florida—a neighboring city south of Deerfield Beach—for his alleged involvement in the murder of rapper XXXTentacion, the tattoo artist’s brother vehemently denied his involvement in the shooting.

Dedrick D. Williams Instagram Photos: XXXTentacion’s Alleged Murderer Is Tattoo Artist Who Flashed Money on Social Media

“Keep my brother name out your mothaf***in’ mouth, my n****,” Dedrick D. Williams’ brother 26 Shotz said in a video that’s being widely circulated online. “We ain’t playing no games bruh, y’all getting y’all self in a whole bunch of trouble, dog. Y’all just mind y’all business, let them crackas do they mothaf****ing job… a n**** pulling up for real. All y’all out there, I don’t give a f***, I don’t pick faces, Z s**t n****.”

Broward County investigators have credited the public and internet sleuths for helping to track down Williams, as the 22-year-old left hints to the shooting on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

It was previously suspected that South Florida rappers Soldier Kidd and Soldier Jojo were responsible for the shooting because they were seen on Instagram near the same location where XXXTentacion was killed, but they quickly denied those allegations Monday (Jun 18)—the same day XXX died.

As we reported yesterday, Dedrick Williams—a tattoo artist from Florida who also goes by the name “Tattooman Chucky”—apparently loved to flash money and jewelry all over social media, especially on Instagram.

He also wrote a number of disturbing posts on social media that don’t really help his case. For instance, the day he was arrested, Williams wrote on Facebook: “Don’t piss me off u will never know wats next.” And in a June 10th post on Instagram, he said, while holding up a bunch of 20 dollar bills in the shape a fan: “I just be ZOOLIN but I”ll lock and grip and shake a n**** til he stiff.”

According to eyewitness accounts, Williams was scoping XXXTentacion out at the motorcycle shop before he allegedly robbed and killed him. The story goes that Williams waited for XXX to return to the bike shop with cash after the rapper allegedly left the dealership to go to the bank to get money. When XXX came back to the dealership (RIVA Motorsports), that’s when Williams and two others took allegedly the opportunity to rob and kill the “SAD!” rapper.

The shooting is still under investigation and police have already issued warrants for Williams’ two accomplices. Williams is facing first-degree murder charges and was denied bond in court Thursday.

Before allegedly committing the horrible murder and being subsequently arrested, Dedrick Devonshay Williams—a local tattoo artist who went by the name “Tattooman Chuckie”—apparently loved to flash money and jewelry all over social media, especially on Instagram.

In addition to photos showing off his inkwork, a significant number of photos on Dedrick Williams’ Instagram page show him showing off huge wads of cash. He also wrote a number of disturbing posts on social media that don’t really help his case.

For instance, the day he was arrested, Williams wrote on Facebook: “Don’t piss me off u will never know wats next.”

In another, Williams is posing behind bars, which some people pointed out is where he’ll likely be spending a significant chunk of his life. “Look at you practicing for jail,” wrote one commenter.

Ironically, Williams captioned a more recent photo, dated June 5th: “Thank God I ain’t dead or behind bars.”

According to Gossip In The City (aka Fameolous), the police suspected Williams was was XXXTentacion’s killer the day of the murder, however, they didn’t release any information because they knew Williams would try to run and/or hurt other people.

The case is still under investigation and police have issued arrest warrants for Williams’ two accomplices.

XXXTentacion’s Alleged Killer Dedrick Williams Charged With Murder in 1st Court Appearance, Denied Bond

Dedrick D. Williams, the man accused of murdering XXXTentacion, appeared in court Thursday afternoon (Jun. 21) to answer to the charges he’s facing in the rapper’s shooting death.

The video footage from court shows Williams going before the judge at the Broward County Courthouse and he was formally charged with 1 count of first-degree murder and 1 count of grand theft auto.

Apparently, Williams has retained the services of a public defender, who said that there has been no witnesses or testimony in the case, and all the courts had to arrest him was a probable cause affidavit.

But the judge made it clear that based on the court docs, she found probable cause and “proof of guilt to be evident or the presumption great,” so she chose to hold him without bond in regards to the murder charge.

Williams was also hit with a probation violation stemming from a 2014 case and will appear in court Monday (Jun. 25) for that.

As we previously reported, Williams—an 11-time felon—was arrested Wednesday night in South Florida after a police chase (he had also stolen a car, hence the grand theft auto charge). His criminal record includes arrests for cocaine possession, weapons possession, domestic violence, aggravated assault with a firearm and grand theft auto.

Authorities believe there are at least two others involved in XXX’s murder, and according to TMZ, there are two other arrest arrests that have been signed by a judge. The two suspects haven’t been taken into custody yet, but they could be arrested before the end of the week.

XXXTentacion was gunned down Monday afternoon (Jun. 18) in broad daylight as he sat in his car after leaving RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida, which is not too far from where he lives.

The shooting happened in front of several witnesses, who reported seeing “masked men” fleeing the scene. X was reportedly shot in the neck and died instantly.

A Louis Vuitton bag was stolen from the scene and police have yet to determine if the men accused of XXXTentacion’s murder had any personal ties to the entertainer.

XXXTentacion Murder Suspect Arrested (MUGSHOT)

The man accused of murdering XXXTentacion has been arrested.

TMZ first broke the news that 22-year-old Dedrick D. Williams was taken into custody by the Broward County Sheriff’s Department Wednesday (Jun. 20) and was booked for first-degree murder for his alleged involvement in the shooting death of XXXTentacion.

During a vigil in South Florida Wednesday night, X’s mother reportedly told family and friends she had gotten word from police that they had XXX’s alleged murder in custody.

Someone at the vigil mentioned that there was a chase on highway I-95, which ended with cops arresting Williams for X’s murder.

Williams was arrested for operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license, violating his probation, and, of course, allegedly murdering XXXTentacion. His charges include first-degree murder and grand theft auto. He’s currently being held in Broward County’s main jail facility with no bond for his murder charge, though his driving without a license charge has a $25 bail.

You can see Williams’ charges in detail via his arrest report below:

According to the Miami Herald, Williams was in the middle of serving five years probation on four counts of grand theft auto when he was arrested Wednesday.

TMZ reports Williams, who has at least 11 felonies on his record, has been arrested before for crimes including cocaine possession, weapons possession, domestic violence, and aggravated assault with a firearm. During an incident in 2014, he allegedly held a gun to his girlfriend’s head.

According to an Instagram profile with the username “_tattoomanchucky” that appears to belong to Williams, he is a tattoo artist. Coincidentally, a June 5th post is captioned: “Thank God I ain’t dead or behind bars.”

His most recent post was around 1 p.m. EST Wednesday afternoon, not too long before his arrest.

XXXTentacion was shot and killed Monday afternoon (Jun. 18) as he sat in his car after leaving RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

The shooting happened in broad daylight in front of several witnesses, who reported seeing at least two masked men fleeing the scene. Eyewitnesses said the rapper was shot in the neck and died instantly.

No word yet on whether police know who the other men involved in the shooting are.
