Rapper Boonk Gang Shot Twice Weeks After His Instagram Was Shut Down Over NSFW Videos

Boonk Gang showed off a disturbing image on Snapchat Friday afternoon (Jul. 28) of him lying in a hospital bed before revealing in subsequent Snaps that he “got shot twice.” One of the Snaps showed one of his gunshot wounds—a pretty big hole in his leg.

The 21-year-old rapper and social media sensation, whose real name is John Robert Hill Jr., also posted videos showing him in the car, apparently after leaving the hospital, with blood seeping through his hospital pants.

“Look, I’m bleeding through my sh**,” he said. “My fans need to know that Boonk Gang living a real life, and I’m going through real problems,” he said wincing through the pain. “F***, that sh** hurts.”

Although we’re unsure of the severity of his injuries, he looked distressed in the Snaps, even seemingly crying in one due to the pain of being shot in the leg.

“My sh** leaking bruh,” he said laughing with tears welled up in his eyes. “I got shot twice. F*** it.” He said in another video posted a couple of hours after the first few, “Boonk Gang still out here, you know what I’m saying?” before ending his Snapchat story with his trademark phrase, “Whole lotta gang sh**.”

News of him getting shot shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who follows Boonk, who brands himself as a troublemaker on social media.

He first rose to prominence last year after videos went viral showing him stealing food from restaurants like Popeyes and Dunkin Donuts and running off while yelling “Boonk Gang! Whole lotta gang sh**!” He was later arrested for that, among other things, but continued to post videos of him running off with stuff while yelling his “whole lotta gang sh**” catchphrase.

Earlier this month, his Instagram was shut down after he was caught sharing a number of X-rated videos to his IG stories. The NSFW videos showed him performing oral sex, receiving oral sex, and having sexual intercourse, all of which are against the social media app’s rules. Shortly after posting the clips, he took to Twitter to let his fans know “I like to have a lot of sex.”

He’s continued to upload NSFW videos on Twitter, where the rules aren’t as strict.

Before sharing on Snapchat that he had gotten shot twice, he posted videos of himself hanging out with friends at a pool and sharing what sounds like new music. “Yall ready for my next project or what?” he wrote in the caption of one of the clips.

But another series of videos, taken two weeks ago according to the timestamp, showed him in a state of depression. “No matter how happy I seem I’m hurting inside… badly,” the caption of one video read. Another video showed him crying and wiping tears from his face.

“I’m not a crack head or a junkie I just have real life issues going on. Celebrity/rapper I have real feelings and a good heart but the world ruined me. IDK if I wanna live or die, I just want this pain [taken] away from me,” he wrote to his fans in one post. “I been thru a lot and I want y’all to know I feel the same pain y’all feel and I guaranteed for a fact I been thru what y’all been thru. I’ma gangsta, but on some real sh** it’s hard and I try to keep a smile to keep y’all smiling. I love y’all,” he shared in another.

Earlier this week, a video went viral showing him falling and hitting his head on a wall after showing up high as hell to an interview on the No Jumper podcast with Adam 22.

Throughout the interview, he was sloppy, slurring his words and could barely put together a coherent sentence. The following day, a series of posts on Twitter revealed that he was battling depression and used drugs to numb the pain.

“Drugs make everything feel better,” he tweeted. “My whole life [people] pushed me away. Acting like they care about me. I do drugs because I feel alone. When I’m high I feel nothing. When I’m sober I feel everything.”

Boonk is obviously crying out for help, and hopefully, those around him can be there to support him. But you can only help someone who wants it.

“Multiple Casualties” Reported, Suspect in Custody

Multiple people have been shot and killed following a mass shooting Thursday afternoon (Jun. 28) at the headquarters of Maryland’s Capital Gazette newspaper, and the suspected gunman is currently in custody.

According to CBS News, at least four people are dead and several others were injured. Gazette reporter Phil Davis confirmed that multiple people had been shot. Davis, who covers courts and crimes for the paper, tweeted, “A single shooter shot multiple people at my office, some of whom are dead.”

He added, “Gunman shot through the glass door to the office and opened fire on multiple employees. Can’t say much more and don’t want to declare anyone dead, but it’s bad … There is nothing more terrifying than hearing multiple people get shot while you’re under your desk and then hear the gunman reload.”

Davis said he was waiting to be interviewed by police.

John McNamara, who has worked for the Gazette and is the editor of the Bowie Blad-News and the Crofton-West County Gazette, has been confirmed among the shootings victims, however, it isn’t clear whether he was among the injured or fatalities.

Joshua McKerrow, a photojournalist for the Baltimore Sun and the Capital Gazette tweeted along with photos from the scene: “Massive police response to shooting in my newsroom in Annpolis.”

An intern with the Capital Gazette, Anthony Messenger, tweeted that there was an “active shooter” and to “please help us” at around 2:40 p.m. Thursday.

Police responded to reports of an active shooter just before 3 p.m. and several vehicles could be seen heading toward the building, according to news reporters and witnesses. People could be seen exiting the building with their hands up.

Roads near the shooting were shut down and people have been told to avoid the area.

WJLA-TV reporter Brad Bell said that the suspect, who was reportedly taken into custody alive, is believed to have used a shotgun in the shooting.

The Capital Gazette has been published since 1884 and is a daily newspaper that serves the city of Annapolis Maryland. Its sister newspaper, the Maryland Gazette, which was founded in 1727, is one of the oldest American newspapers.

The Capital Gazette building is home to several publications, including The Capital newspaper, the Maryland Gazette, the Bowie Blade-News, the Crofton-West County Gazette and Capital Style Magazine, along with CapitalGazette.com. Other businesses, including a medical office, are also located in the building.

The Capital Gazette and the Maryland Gazette are both owned by the Baltimore Sun Media Group, which is owned by Tribune Publishing. Police have also responded to check the Baltimore Sun newsrooms as a precautionary measure in the wake of the shooting.

XXXTentacion Fought to His Death With Masked Gunmen Who Targeted Him Before Murder

New evidence in the investigation into XXXTentacion’s shooting death has revealed details about his murder, including XXX being targeted by his killers, how the rapper struggled for his life before he was fatally shot, and how police eventually collared one of the men responsible for his death.

According to a detective’s sworn affidavit, the 20-year-old’s killers were tracking him in his final moments Monday afternoon (Jun. 18).

RELATED: XXXTentacion’s Alleged Murderer Dedrick D. Williams Is a Tattoo Artist Who Flashed Money on Instagram All the Time

The affidavit states that the main suspect in the shooting, 22-year-old tattoo artist Dedrick Williams, and another man followed XXX into RIVA Motorsports before shooting and robbed him in his car less than a half hour later. The court documents also say that XXXTentacion (real name: Jahseh Dwayne Onfrey) was specifically targeted in the attack.

Surveillance footage from outside the motorcycle shop, as well as from inside the business, captured two men entering the dealership while XXXTentacion shopped. The CCTV video also recorded the moment he was ambushed while leaving the bike shop’s parking lot.

Onfroy had brought a friend along with him to browse at the dealership where he was a regular customer. What happened to his passenger, and why the rapper was targeted, were not described in the court docs. Onfroy’s attorney, David Bogenschutz—who had previously warned XXX to become more aware of his security—said he believes his client had gone to a bank before traveling to RIVA motorsports.

Onfroy drove his BMW to the motorcycle dealer at about 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon. About two minutes later, a dark-colored SUV arrived and parked in the dealer’s lot. Two men exited the SUV, one wearing a white tank top and bright orange sandals and the other wearing a dark T-shirt, and entered the store.

The man in the white tank and orange sandals, later identified as Williams, paid cash for a black mask, and the men left the store. They returned to the SUV and backed it into a homeowner’s driveway across the street from the dealership.

At 3:55 p.m., when Onfroy’s BMW was exiting the dealership’s lot, the SUV pulled in front of it, blocking Onfroy in. An eyewitness told detectives two armed men dressed in dark clothing and gloves—one wearing a red mask and the other in a black mask—approached the driver side of the rapper’s vehicle.

XXX briefly struggled with the masked men, who then shot the rapper multiple times before reaching inside the BMW and taking his Louis Vuitton bag. XXX was hit in the neck and died instantly, witnesses said. The masked men fled the scene immediately after the shooting.

Broward Sheriff’s deputies were able to quickly identify Williams because he was seen wearing the same orange sandals he had on when he killed XXXTentacion in multiple photographs posted to Instagram and Facebook. Williams’ identity was also confirmed by eyewitnesses and employees of the shop. Within 48 hours, Williams was taken into police custody and charged with first-degree murder for X’s shooting death.

According to Williams’ arrest report, police contact was made with him as he drove a 2004 silver Honda Accord, which he was driving without a valid license and a suspended ID. The records accuse Williams of murdering XXXTentacion with “a premeditated design to effect the death of a human being, Jahseh Onfroy” and allege he did “have an active part and did kill and murder by shooting him with a deadly weapon, to wit: a gun.”

Williams appeared in court the day after his arrest and was denied bond. The Broward County Sheriff’s Office said they were “seeking additional suspects” still at large. Williams’ brother posted a video on social media denying Williams’ involvement in the shooting.

Though police don’t believe Williams is the one who actually pulled the trigger, his active role in the homicide led to him being arrested on a premeditated murder charge.

XXXTentacion’s Alleged Killer Dedrick Williams Charged With Murder in 1st Court Appearance, Denied Bond

Dedrick D. Williams, the man accused of murdering XXXTentacion, appeared in court Thursday afternoon (Jun. 21) to answer to the charges he’s facing in the rapper’s shooting death.

The video footage from court shows Williams going before the judge at the Broward County Courthouse and he was formally charged with 1 count of first-degree murder and 1 count of grand theft auto.

Apparently, Williams has retained the services of a public defender, who said that there has been no witnesses or testimony in the case, and all the courts had to arrest him was a probable cause affidavit.

But the judge made it clear that based on the court docs, she found probable cause and “proof of guilt to be evident or the presumption great,” so she chose to hold him without bond in regards to the murder charge.

Williams was also hit with a probation violation stemming from a 2014 case and will appear in court Monday (Jun. 25) for that.

As we previously reported, Williams—an 11-time felon—was arrested Wednesday night in South Florida after a police chase (he had also stolen a car, hence the grand theft auto charge). His criminal record includes arrests for cocaine possession, weapons possession, domestic violence, aggravated assault with a firearm and grand theft auto.

Authorities believe there are at least two others involved in XXX’s murder, and according to TMZ, there are two other arrest arrests that have been signed by a judge. The two suspects haven’t been taken into custody yet, but they could be arrested before the end of the week.

XXXTentacion was gunned down Monday afternoon (Jun. 18) in broad daylight as he sat in his car after leaving RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida, which is not too far from where he lives.

The shooting happened in front of several witnesses, who reported seeing “masked men” fleeing the scene. X was reportedly shot in the neck and died instantly.

A Louis Vuitton bag was stolen from the scene and police have yet to determine if the men accused of XXXTentacion’s murder had any personal ties to the entertainer.

The man accused of murdering XXXTentacion has been arrested.

TMZ first broke the news that 22-year-old Dedrick D. Williams was taken into custody by the Broward County Sheriff’s Department Wednesday (Jun. 20) and was booked for first-degree murder for his alleged involvement in the shooting death of XXXTentacion.

During a vigil in South Florida Wednesday night, X’s mother reportedly told family and friends she had gotten word from police that they had XXX’s alleged murder in custody.

Someone at the vigil mentioned that there was a chase on highway I-95, which ended with cops arresting Williams for X’s murder.

Williams was arrested for operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license, violating his probation, and, of course, allegedly murdering XXXTentacion. His charges include first-degree murder and grand theft auto. He’s currently being held in Broward County’s main jail facility with no bond for his murder charge, though his driving without a license charge has a $25 bail.

You can see Williams’ charges in detail via his arrest report below:

According to the Miami Herald, Williams was in the middle of serving five years probation on four counts of grand theft auto when he was arrested Wednesday.

TMZ reports Williams, who has at least 11 felonies on his record, has been arrested before for crimes including cocaine possession, weapons possession, domestic violence, and aggravated assault with a firearm. During an incident in 2014, he allegedly held a gun to his girlfriend’s head.

According to an Instagram profile with the username “_tattoomanchucky” that appears to belong to Williams, he is a tattoo artist. Coincidentally, a June 5th post is captioned: “Thank God I ain’t dead or behind bars.”

His most recent post was around 1 p.m. EST Wednesday afternoon, not too long before his arrest.

XXXTentacion was shot and killed Monday afternoon (Jun. 18) as he sat in his car after leaving RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

The shooting happened in broad daylight in front of several witnesses, who reported seeing at least two masked men fleeing the scene. Eyewitnesses said the rapper was shot in the neck and died instantly.

No word yet on whether police know who the other men involved in the shooting are.

Jeremy Webster’s Booking Photo Released by Westminster, Colorado Police

Westminster, Colorado police have finally released the mugshot of the man accused of shooting four people, including a child who died, in the parking lot of a dental office after a road rage incident Thursday afternoon (Jun. 14).

23-year-old Jeremy John Webster was arrested on murder charges in connection with the deadly shooting that was the result of an alleged road rage incident.

PREVIOUSLY: Colorado Man Accused of Shooting 4 People, Killing a Child, in Dentist Office Parking Lot

Jeremy Webster is being charged with murder in the first degree after deliberation with intent, murder in the first-degree with extreme indifference, assault in the first degree, and criminal attempt to commit a class one felony. He is being held without bond and is due in court on Monday (Jun. 18).

Of the four people Webster opened fire on, three were a mother and her two sons. The 41-year-old mother and her 8-year-old son are in critical condition, while the mother’s 8-year-old son died as a result of his injuries. An adult male not related to the victims was also involved in the shooting. It is believed he will survive.

“When officers arrived on the scene, they found two adults and two children, suffering from gunshot wounds,” police said in the news release. “All four victims were shot in the parking lot of the business complex. There were no additional victims in any of the businesses.”

“An adult male who was shot is expected to survive his injuries. There is no relation between this victim and the below-listed victims,” police said. “An adult female and her two male children were also struck by gunfire. The female and one of the children sustained life-threatening injuries and are in critical condition. A juvenile male succumbed to his injuries.”

Police said the suspect didn’t know any of the victims, whose names have not yet been released.

According to the Denver Post, at least 20 people witnessed the shooting. One witness told The Post he “found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and his clothes saturated in blood,” The man was “very coherent” and “very calm,” the witness said.

A reporter for Denver’s Contact 7 News obtained a search warrant in the case that provided more details into the shooting. It was revealed that Webster allegedly used a Glock 19 handgun in the shooting, and one of the mother’s sons (who was not injured in the shooting) described to police what happened, saying that his mom “had some sort of altercation near the intersection of Sheridan Blvd. and Turnpike Drive.”

The uninjured boy allegedly told police that Webster followed his mother’s car into the parking lot of the office building where the shootings happened and parked behind her car. A total of three children were in the car—two of them were shot; one of the two who were shot died.

The woman snapped a picture of Webster’s license plate and then exited the car with her children, and then an argument ensued, DenverChannel.com reported. As Webster and the woman argued, witnesses saw Webster pull out a handgun and shoot the woman “multiple times,” according to the warrant.

The woman fell to the ground, and Webster then turned to two of the boys and shot them both multiple times, the affidavit said. As Webster started to walk back toward his car, he turned around and shot one of the boys again as he was lying on the ground. The third child was able to run away from the scene without being shot.

After shooting the woman and her two sons, Webster made eye contact with a man in a different vehicle—a pickup truck—with his daughter. As Webster walked toward the man’s truck, he fired at it multiple times, hitting the man in both arms. He was able to put his truck in reverse and drive out of the parking lot. Thankfully, his daughter was not injured.

The woman’s 12-year-old son, who wasn’t injured in the shooting, was able to describe to police about the road rage incident and about the photo his mother took of the suspect’s license plate, which allowed officers to be able to track the vehicle to Webster, who was later apprehended on I-25 near Castle Rock.

9 News reporter Katie Eastman said she spoke with the owner of a car shop near the dentist office where the shooting occurred. The shop owner said he heard around seven or eight “deliberate” gunshots and watched a man run down the sidewalk. The shop owner said he saw police running after the man when they arrived on the scene.

Jeremy Webster reportedly waived his Miranda rights and admitted to the shooting. He also told police that he suffers from “mental health issues” and had just started a new prescription medication the day of the shooting.

Webster informed police that his new medication and the box for the handgun were at his house. The claims about his mental state and medication haven’t yet been independently verified beyond what the affidavit states.

Colorado Man Accused of Shooting 4 People, Killing a Child, in Dentist Office Parking Lot

A 23-year-old man was arrested on murder charges in connection with a deadly shooting Thursday (Jun. 14) in Westminster, Colorado.

Police have identified the accused shooter as Jeremy John Webster—who reportedly shot four people, including two children, in the parking lot outside of a Westminster, Colorado dentist’s office. According to police, road rage is believed to have been the motive for the shooting, which left a child dead.

Police said that the suspect didn’t know any of the victims, whose names have not yet been released.

“Through our investigation we have been able to determine the suspect did not know any of the victims and did not have a relationship with any of them. It appears as if this incident stemmed from a road rage,” wrote police.

Of the four victims, three were a mother and her two juvenile sons, one of which was killed.

A photo of Jeremy Webster has not been published because police are still conducting lineups with witnesses and have requested that media outlets refrain from publishing pictures of the suspect until he has been properly ID’d.

Jail records show that Jeremy Webster was booked into jail into the Adams County jail just after 1:30 a.m. early Friday morning (Jun. 15).

Webster is being charged with murder in the first degree after deliberation with intent, murder in the first-degree with extreme indifference, assault in the first degree, and criminal attempt to commit a class one felony. He is being held without bond and is due in court on Monday (Jun. 18).

Here’s what you need to know about Jeremy John Webster and the deadly shooting:

1The mass shooting happened outside a dental office in Westminster, Colorado.

Thursday’s shooting in Westminster, Colorado is the latest mass shooting to traumatize the United States. The first reports of the incident said that an active shooter was near a dental office, and the suspect was still at large for several hours.

Initial reports stated that the shooting occurred inside a dental office, but that later proved untrue. The shooting happened in the parking lot outside Comfort Dental at 80th and Sheridan.

23-year-old Jeremy John Webmaster from Colorado Springs was first identified as the shooter by CBS Denver the Friday morning after the shooting. Webster was arrested after a wildlife officer spotted his car, which was described by police as a black 4-door Toyota Corolla with a Colorado license plate (NPQ-091).

Children’s Dentistry of Westminster posted a statement on Facebook:

“We want to thank everyone in the community for the outpouring of support we received after the tragic and senseless incident that occurred today. We ask that you keep the victims in your thoughts and prayers. We would like to give a special thanks to the Westminster fire and police department who responded quickly and immediately took action. We are truly thankful for their efforts today. All Children’s Dentistry staff are now home and safe. Our office will be closed until Monday, June 18.”

2Jeremy Webster shot 4 people, including 2 children, one of whom died. The mother and brother of the child who died are in critical condition.

Jeremy Webster opened fire on four people, including two children, of whom died as a result of the shooting.

Of the four victims, three were a mother and her two sons (one of them died). The mother and her surviving son are in critical condition, and it is believed that the fourth shooting victim, an adult male not related to the other three victims, will also survive.

A heartbreaking scene occurred outside the dental office where the child was killed. A little girl wanted to bring flowers for the boy who died, and she and her grandfather “prayed in the parking lot,” according to Denver Post reporter Elizabeth Hernandez.

Police haven’t yet released a photo of the suspected shooter because they’re still conducting lineups with witnesses and have requested that the media refrain from publishing any pictures until the suspect has been properly ID’d.

CBS Denver posted this photo showing a man being taken into custody, but they blurred the man’s face:

The Westminster Police Department said they are also not releasing the identity of the victims at this time.

3 There were reportedly 20 witnesses to the shooting.

Police first indicated that they weren’t sure what the motive was for the crime, but they later revealed that they believed that a road rage incident drove the mayhem. They haven’t provided any additional details yet.

Police released a description of the suspect’s vehicle early on, writing on Twitter, “Vehicle of Interest: Black Toyota 4 door” with a Colorado license plate “NPQ 091.” Police added: “occupant(s) should be considered armed. Call 911 or WPD with info 303 658 4360.”

According to the Denver Post, at least 20 people witnessed the shooting, and it wasn’t clear whether it was targeted or random. A witness told The Post he “found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and his clothes saturated in blood,” The man was “very coherent” and “very calm,” the witness said.

4One witness described hearing “deliberate gunshots.”

9 News reporter Katie Eastman said she spoke with the owner of a car shop near the dentist office where the shooting occurred. The shop owner said he heard around seven or eight “deliberate” gunshots and watched as a man ran down the sidewalk of Sheridan. The shop owner said he saw police running after the man when they arrived on the scene.

James Sisneros told 9 News that his daughter was locked inside the dentist’s office near where the shooting occurred while police investigated. He said he saw one of the bleeding victims and it “didn’t look very good.”
