Tekashi 6ix9ine Facing Up to 3 Years in Jail, Could Be a Registered Sex Offender

Tekashi 6ix9ine could spend the next 1-3 years of his life behind bars if prosecutors get their way.

The controversial rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, appeared in court Thursday (Aug. 9) to answer to charges related to a sexual misconduct case from 2015 in which he was charged with the use of a child in a sexual performance and was found guilty.

Tekashi 69 was accused of having sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl in February 2015 and later distributing at least three videos of the incident online.

According to the criminal complaint, in the first video, “the child engages in oral sexual intercourse with the separately charged defendant Taquan Anderson, while the defendant, Daniel Hernandez, stands behind the child making a thrusting motion with his pelvis and smacking her on her buttocks. The child is nude in the video.”

The other two videos show the child sitting on 6ix9ine’s lap while Anderson groped her breasts and later sitting naked across Anderson and 6ix9ine. The rapper claimed to have “no sexual contact” with the girl and denied knowing she was a minor.

Tekashi also claimed to be 17 years old at the time of the incident, although the birth date listed in the complaint against him and in his statement to the police shows he was actually 18 at the time.

The judge over the case gave him a conditional release and deferred his sentence for two years. The deal stated that Tekashi cannot get into any trouble of any kind, must complete community service hours, have a mental health evaluation, obtain his GED, and write an apology letter to the victim.

Had he met the terms of the deal, 6ix9ine would have essentially received a slap on the wrist—three years probation and he would not have to register as a sex offender. However, prosecutors are now saying that 6ix9ine violated the terms of his plea agreement by getting arrested in Houston and Brooklyn.

According to the Blast, the Manhattan D.A. is now recommending the rapper be sentenced to 1-3 years in a state prison and be registered as a sex offender.

Even though Tekashi has claimed he was a minor when the incident occurred, officials are adamant he should be “sentenced as an adult for the crime he committed against a child and accept the consequences of that conviction, including registration under the Sexual Offender Registration Act.”

The letter to the judge states “Defendant has had over two years to demonstrate to this Court that the role he played in the sexual exploitation of a thirteen-year-old child was an aberration in his otherwise law-abiding life. He has failed to do so.”

Tekashi 69 will be sentenced on October 2nd.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Hospitalized After Being Kidnapped, Pistol-Whipped & Robbed at Gunpoint

Sources close to Tekashi 6ix9ine say that the controversial rapper is in the hospital after being kidnapped, pistol-whipped and robbed at gunpoint.

According to a highly questionable report from TMZ, Tekashi 69 was shooting a music video in Brooklyn, New York early Sunday morning (Jul. 22). The shoot wrapped around 4 a.m. and he drove home. When he got to his house, another car pulled up and blocked his driveway so that he couldn’t leave. That’s when all hell broke loose.

TMZ’s sources say three hooded gunmen hopped out of their vehicle, grabbed Tekashi and pistol-whipped him, which knocked him unconscious. When 69 woke up, he found himself in the back seat of the car as the gunmen were driving around, telling him if he didn’t hand over his jewelry and money, they would kill him right then and there.

A short time later, the gunmen pulled back up to Teksahi’s home and two of them went inside as the third man kept watch outside with Tekashi in the car. The gunmen made off with around $750,000 in jewelry and between $15,000 and $20,000 in cash, according to TMZ. 6ix9ine’s baby mama and young daughter were reportedly inside the house while all of this was happening, but were not hurt, TMZ reported.

As the assailants drove away with Tekashi still in the back seat, he was somehow able to open the back door and jumped out. One of the gunmen chased him down the street but gave up after some time out of fear of being identified. Tekashi then hopped into the passenger seat of a passerby’s vehicle and begged for help. The good Samaritan called the police and then asked 6ix9ine to get out of the car.

An ambulance then took Tekashi to a hospital, where doctors performed various tests, including a CT scan. The rapper sent TMZ a picture of him lying in a hospital bed for “proof.”

Tekashi’s alleged kidnapping incident comes after a number of provocative statements from the rapper, who has pissed off A LOT of people, to say the least. Whether the three hooded gunmen were acting in response to something he said, or simply for the money, remains to be seen.

For what it’s worth, who knows if this really happened or if this is just another publicity stunt from the controversial rapper, who just released a new song with Nicki Minaj called “FEFE.”

If this really did happen, hopefully, Tekashi 6ix9ine has learned his lesson in regards to writing checks with his mouth his ass obviously can’t cash.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Shuts Down Rumors of Shootout With Fetty Wap’s Crew

Tekashi 6ix9ine wants the world to know that he did NOT get into a shootout with Fetty Wap’s crew.

Reports emerged this week that the “Gummo” rapper got into a confrontation with Fetty Wap’s crew that ended in shots being fired.

The story goes that Tekashi and his crew were at a recording studio in L.A. Wednesday night (May 30) to hang out with Fetty Wap, but Tekashi never made it past the front door because Fetty’s crew stopped Tekashi and his clique from entering.

An alleged confrontation between the two crews ensued, which eventually led to someone pulling out a gun and firing shots in the air. Police were called, but by the time they showed up, everyone had already left. Cops say they recovered shell casings from the scene and were looking for the shooter.

But according to Tekashi, none of that is true because he and Fetty Wap are “brothers.” In a now-deleted video he posted on Instagram, Tekashi hopped out of a black SUV and set the record straight about the rumored shootout.

“A lot of niggas saying that niggas shot at my man Fetty Wap, ain’t nobody shoot at Fetty Wap, that’s my brother, we don’t shoot at my friends,” Tekashi said.

He then announced that he’s still in L.A. and untouched before calling out GBE. “Still in f**kin L.A. man. A lot of n**gas, they big mad. I don’t believe they raps. Tell ’em to pull up, I’m out here man,” he said.

Tekashi wrote in the caption of the post, “TMZ I love y’all but that’s not true Fetty Wap MY brother. The clock still ticking…. I don’t believe y’all raps. Y’all gonna have to prove it I think niggas just take credit for other people’s gun.”

Alleged Fight Between Tekashi 6ix9ine & Fetty Wap’s Crew Ends in Gunfire

Tekashi 6ix9ine always finds himself in the middle of some drama, and earlier this week, a confrontation between the “Gummo” rapper and Fetty Wap’s crew ended in gunfire, police said.

According to TMZ sources, 6ix9ine and his crew were at a recording studio in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (May 30) to work with Fetty Wap, but Tekashi apparently never made it inside because Fetty’s crew stopped Tekashi and co. from entering.

A confrontation between 6ix9ine and Fetty’s crew ensued, which eventually led to someone pulling out a gun and firing off a couple of shots in the air. Police were called, but by the time they showed up, everyone involved had fled the scene. Cops reportedly recovered shell casings from the scene and are now looking for the shooter.

Oddly enough, TMZ’s sources say that Fetty Wap wasn’t even in L.A. the night of the incident, and even more weird is the fact that Tekashi and Fetty’s crew have been hanging out since the shooting, posting photos and videos with each other on Instagram, TMZ claims.

6ix9ine linked up with Fetty Wap released a single together with A Boogie earlier this year called “KEKE.” The video dropped in January.
