Wow, this is just wonderful.  I must confess I knew very little about Franck Sorbier myself so I went to the Wikipedia and there you have:

Franck Sorbier is a Paris fashion house that achieved haute couture status in 2005. After working successfully for Chantal Thomass and Thierry Mugler, the French fashion designer Franck Sorbier, who was born in 1961, presented his first collection in 1987. Then, some major stores, such as Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus in the United States, Seibu in Japan, noticed him. In 1995, The renowned French jeweller and watchmaker Cartier gave him the opportunity to present his winter 95/96 collection in a prestigious place, the “Carrousel du Louvre”. In 1996, he became a member of the French Federation of Couture and Ready-To-Wear,supported by Jean-Paul Gaultier and Sonia Rykiel. In 1999, Franck Sorbier designed glasses for Vuarnet sunglasses. He presented his first Couture collection this same year.

Franck Sorbier es un diseñadir parisino (Casa de Modas) que alcanzo el estatus de Alta Costura en el 2005.  Luego de trabajar con mucho exito para Chantal Thomass y Thierry Mugler, el diseñador, nacido en 1961, presento su primera coleccion en 1987.  Para entonces alguas tiendas importantes como Bergdorf Goodman y Neiman Marcus en los Estados Unidos y Seibu en Japon lo habian notado.  En 1995 el renombrado joyero Cartier le dio la oportunidad de presentarse en su coleccion 95/96 en un lugar tan prestigioso como el “Carrousel du Louvre”.  En 1996 entro a formar parte de la Federacion Francesa de Alta Costura y Listo para Usar, apoyado por Jean-Paul Gaultier y Sonia Rykiel.  En 1999 Franck Sorbier diseño las gafas de Vuarnet y presento su primera Coleccion Couture ese mismo año.
